Meosis | A process where gametes with one set of unpaired chromosomes. |
X-chromosome | The longer chromosome. females have 2 x-chromosomes, males have 1. |
Y-chromosome | The shorter sex chromosome. Males have one x-chromosome and one y-chromosome. |
