Ecosystems | community of organisms that live in an area along with their nonliving surroundings |
Biosphere | the parts of the Earth where life exists |
Immigration | new members joining the population |
Emigration | members leaving the population |
Pioneer Species | Carried by wind or water (seeds, mosses, lichens) or Soil formation by weathered rock |
