Weather | State of the atmosphere at a given time and place with regard to temperature, air pressure, humidity, wind, cloudiness and precipitation. |
Monsoon | In Asia, a seasonal wind that brings warm, moist air from he oceans in summer and cooler, dry air from inland in winter. |
Typhoon | A violent tropical storm that forms in the Pacific Ocean, usually in later summer. |
Hurricane | A large powerful windstorm that forms over warm ocean waters. |

Seasons | Division of the year often marked by changes in weather (hot/cold, wet/dry) |
Acid Rain | Rainfall made sufficiently acidic by atmospheric pollution that it causes environmental harm, typically to forests and lakes |
Tectonic Plates | Pieces of the earth's crust that move around. |
Flood | An overflow of water that submerges land that is usually dry. |
Irrigation | The artificial application of water to land to assist in the production of crops. |
