Term | Definition |
Pistils | Female part found in the center of most flowers |
Ovary | Hollow structure which protects the seeds as they develop |

Anther | The part of a stamen that contains the pollen. |
Stigma | The part of the pistil where pollen germinates. |
Style | Structure found within the flower. It is a long, slender stalk that connects the stigma and the ovary. |
