iron sucrose | used w/clients w/CKD are receiving erythropoietin & are hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis |
iron RN adm. | take on empty stomach, can take w/food , space dose, anticipate dark green stool, therapy can last 1-2 mos |
foods w/iron | liver, eggyolks, muscle meats, yeast grains, green leafy veg. |
