diffusion /passive transport | it do not requires energy and it moving freely |
osmosis | diffusion of water molecules across a semipermeable membrane from an area higher water concentration area of lower water concentration |
active transport | energy requiring movement of molecules across a membrane from a region of lower concentration to a region of higher concentration |
semi-permeable | only contain small molecules |
phagocytosis | uptake of solid particle into a cell by engulfing the particle |
pinocytosis | the transport of fluid into a cell by means by the cell membrane |
