| What is the Vacuole | A vacuole is an Organelle, both in plant and animal cells, that stores food, water, waste and any other nutrients the cell needs to survive. |
| What is the Mitochondria | The Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. They act like a digestive system which break down nutrients and convert them to energy. |
| What is the Nucleus | The nucleus is at the center of the cell and acts of the "brain" or "boss" of the cell. It controls metabolism, the nucleolus and the all other organelles. |
