Empirical Evidence | Empirical evidence is information acquired by observation or experimentation. Scientists record and analyze this data. The process is a central part of the scientific method. | To know the body temperature often thermometer is used to know the correct reading. A person with fever may appear cold or hot to the another person. |
Theory | a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained. | no new evidence will demonstrate that the Earth does not orbit around the sun |
Law | a statement of fact, deduced from observation, to the effect that a particular natural or scientific phenomenon always occurs if certain conditions are present. | Newton's Second Law of Motion describes how an object moves. It means that an object will move according to the total amount of force applied. |
Science | the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. |
