Crime | an act or omission of an act that is prohibited and punishable by federal statute |
Intent | With intention or purpose |
Rule of Law | The principle that all people and institutions are subject to and accountable to law that is fairly applied and enforced, is the principle of government by law |
Justice | Fairness, Moral rightness, a system in law where every person gets equal rights from both natural and legal standings |
Motive | an idea, belief, or emotion that impels a person to act in accordance with that state of mind. |
Negligence | A failure to behave with the level of care that someone of ordinary prudence would have exercised under the same circumstances |
Perpetrator | a person who commits an illegal, criminal act |
Recklessness | The person knew/should have known that his or her action were likely to cause harm |
