Question | Answer |
What is the Bernoulli's Principle? | As the speed of a moving fluid increases its pressure decreases. |
What are the forces? | Gravity(pulling down), Drag(dragging), Thrust(moving forward), Lift(lifting) |
Which one has more pressure? Faster or Slower? | Faster air has less pressure, slower air has more pressure. |
What creates thrust? | Rocket, jets, and propellers. |
What is the first Newtons Law? | 1, Things want to keep on doing what they are doing. |
What is the second Newtons law? | 2, Acceleration of an object depends on the mass of the object and the amount of the force |
What is the third Newtons law? | 3, For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction |
What is the 3 Properties of air (1) | Air takes up space |
What is the 3 Properties of air (2) | Air has mass |
What is the 3 Properties of air (3) | Air exerts pressure |
What is weight? | A downward-pulling force an object due to gravity, measured newtons, change wherever you go. |
What is mass? | Amount of matter in an object, stays the same wherever you are, measure KG |
What affects drag? | Size and shape |
What is airfoil? | A curved top and a more straight bottom, also called streamline shape, creates lift. |
What is Force? | Force is a push or pull that attracts things toward the centre of large objects. Earth's gravity causes people and objects to have weight. |
What is Drag? | The aerodynamic force that acts against an moving object moving through the air or another fluid. When you swim the drag of water slows you down. |
What is Lift? | The aerodynamic that acts perpendicular to the direction of motion, causing the fluid, causing the object to rise. |
What is Thrust? | The force that pushes a flying object forward. An aircraft engine produces thrust that propels the craft. |
What are the causes that affects Drag? | Shape and size, which stops air from moving if too big. |
