Ingestion | Introduction of food and drink into the GI tract |

Omentum | Fold of peritoneum from the stomach to either cover the region between the liver and stomach, or extends to cover most abdominal organs on their anterior surface |
Mechanoreceptor | Sensory receptor that responds to touch, vibration, pressure, or distortion |
