force | a push or pull that acts on an object |
position | the placement of an object or person |
speed | how fast the position of an object changes with time at any given moment |
acceleration | a change in speed; going faster |
deceleration | when a force causes the speed of an object to decrease or slow down |
incline | a ramp or slope |
pendulum | something hanging from a fixed point that swings due to gravity and then out due to inertia |
motion | the action or process of moving or of changing place or position; movement |
inertia | the tendency of an object to resist a change in its state of motion |
friction | a force that opposes the motion of one object moving past another |
