autotroph | an organism that is able to make it's own food;known as a producer in the food chain |
heterotroph | an organism that CANNOT make it's own food;known as a consumer in the food chain |
asexual | a method of reproduction that requires only one parent 100% DNA from 1 parent |
sexual | a method of reproduction that requires both male and female 50% from 1 parent 50% from 1 parent |
cell theory | states that all living organisms are made up of 1 or more cells;cells are the basic unit of life and all cells come from other cells |
