domain bacteria | Prokaryotic single celled organism that lacks a nucleus in its cells |
domian archaea | prokaryoyic single celled organism that lacks a nucleus in its cells and can live in extreme environment |
domain eukarya | organism with cells that contain a nucleus |
Kingdom | a taxonomic rank below domain 6 groups: animalia fungi plantae protista archaea amd eubacteria |
autograph | an organism that is able to make its own food known asa a producer in the food chain |
heterotroph | an organism that CANNOT make its own food known as a consumer in the food chain |
asexual | a method of reproduction that requires only one parent 100% DNA from 1 parent |
sexual | a method of reproduction that requires both male and female parent 50% from 1 parent 50% from the other |
cell theory | states that all living organisms are made up of 1 or more cells;cells are the basic unit of life and all cells from other cells |
