Term | Definition |
circuits | complete path made of conductors through which electric currents can flow. |
parallel circuits | electric current has TWO OR MORE paths to follow to and from the energy source. |
series circuit | electric current only has ONE path to follow to and from the energy source. |
electric current | the measure of the flow of electrons in a circuit |
conductor | allows electricity to easily flow (travel) through them. Example: Metals |
insulator | stops the flow of electricity. Example: wood, rubber, plastic... |
