Anther | Structure of a flower that produces pollen grains and includes nectar |
Pollen | Male plant reproductive cell |
Style | Tube that carries the pollen in the pistil from the stigma to the ovary |
Pistil | Female reproductive part of a flower |
Stigma | Top part of the pistil, where the pollen enters |

Phloem | Tubes in a vascular plant that transport food from the leaves to the rest of the plant |
Photosynthesis | Process that plants go through to create their own food (glucose) |
Transpiration | Process where water is evaporation exits the leaves from plants with the help of stomata and guard cells |
Respiration | Process that plant's go through to release their energy to help them grow and heal |
Leaves | Where photosynthesis, transpiration, and respiration occur on a plant |
Roots | Soak up water and nutrients from the soil and stores extra food |
Stem | Helps support the plant and has the xylem and phloem |
Flower | Contains the male and female parts of the plant |
