| Newton's First Law | An object will keep moving in the same direction at the same speed until a force is applied to it |
| Friction | Works in the opposite direction that an object is moving |
| Position | Location of an object is moving |
| Velocity | Speed of an object with the direction it is traveling |

| Intertia | Tendency of an object to resist a change in motion |
| Force | Push or pull that acts on an object |
