Testes/Testicals | Produce testosterone and sperm cells. (Males) |
Epididymus | Coiled tubes where sperm cells mature. (Males) |
Vas Deferens | Tube that connects the epididymus to the urethra. (Males) |
Seminal Vesicle | Gland that secretes seminal fluid which contains sperm cells. (Males) |
Prostate Gland | Gland that secretes a fluid that is part of the semen. (Males) |
Urethra | The passageway for urine in both males and females. |
Penis | The male organ of reproduction, provides a passage through which semen or urine passes through (never at the same time) to exit the body |
Ovaries | Two glands located on each side of the uterus, Produces estrogen and Progesterone and stores egg cells. (Females) |
Fallopian Tubes | Two threadlike tubes that connect the ovaries to the uterus; this is where fertilization occurs. (Females) |
Uterus | This is where a fertilized egg can grow and develop into a baby. (AKA the womb) (Females) |
Cervix | a tiny opening between the uterus and the vagina. (Females) |
Vagina | a muscular opening that connects the uterus to the outside of the body. (AKA the Birth Canal) (Females) |
