Apparent Magnitude | A brightness of a star as seen from earth. |
Luminosity | The actual brightness of an object such as a star. |
Absolute magnitude | Absolute magnitude is a measure on how a bright star would be if it were seen from a standard distance. |

Main sequence stars | Main sequence stars are stars that are fusing hydrogen atoms to form helium atoms in their cores |
Astronomical- unit | a unit of measurement equal to 149.6 million kilometers, the mean distance from the center of the earth to the center of the sun. |
