Body Alignment | Good posture occurs when the parts of the body are balance symmetrically around the centre of gravity. Maintaining upright postion requires balance of flexibility and strength from postural muscles. |

Joint Action | Must maintain normal ROM for all joints. Key issues are flexion, hyperextension, and speed. Keep joints relaxed, not locked. Locking can involve hyperextension and stresses joint. |
Recruitment of Muscle Fibres/Isolation | Correct exercise requires effective recruitment of muscle fibres & ability to isolate a specific muscle. Slow & controlled, Static stretch. |
Breathing | Always remind participants to breath. Holding breath can lead to lack of oxygen causing dizziness or extreme muscle fatique. Blood pressure can also increase. |
