electric resistince | measure of how difficult it is for electrons to flow in mterial; unit is the ohm. |
voltage | a measure of the amount of electric potentail energy transfered by an electric charge as it moves from one point to another in curcuit. |
series circuit | circuit that has only one path for electric current to follow. |
parrallel circuit | cuicuit that ahs more than one path for electric current to follow. |
magnetic domain | a group of atoms in a magnetic material with the magnetic poles of the atoms pointing in the same direction. |
electromagnetic | a current-carrying wire wrapped around an iron core. |
electromagnetic inductoin | production of electric current by moving a magnet and a wine coil relative to each other. |
