Cytokinesis | The stage of the cell cycle in which the cytoplasm divides. |
Chromosomes | Threadlike structures in the nucleus that carry the genetic information |
Genes | A section of chromosome that carries the code for a trait. |
Asexual Reproduction | A reproductive process that involves only one parent and the offspring are identical to the parent. |

Prophase | Chromosomes appear. Nucleur membrane breaks down. Spindle fibers appear. |
Metaphase | Chromosomes attach to the spindle fibers at the centromere. Chromosomes line up in the center of the cell. |
Anaphase | Chromosomes are pulled apart and move to opposite ends(poles) of the cell. One of each pair of sister chromatid is at each end of the cell. |
