Seasons | The four periods of the year (Summer,Winter,Fall,Spring) |
Direct Light | Light that hits an area more directly |
Indirect Light | Light that doesn't hit an area directly |

Orbit | The curved path of a Star,Planet,and Moon |
Revolution(Revolve) | A turning or rotational motion about an axis |
Axis | An imaginary line the Earth spins on |
Rotation(Rotate) | The process of turning around on the axis |
Solstice | Two times of the year when the Earth is closest to the sun and when the Earth is farthest from the sun |
Equinox | Two times during a year when day and night are equal |
Moon Phases(SPACE VIEW) | No phases stay the same |
Moon Phases(EARTH VIEW) | Many different phases |
Gibbous | A phase of the moon that is almost full |
Crescent | A phase of the moon that is a small curve |
Waxing | A phase of the moon where the larger part of the moon is visible so it looks like it is increasing in size |
Waning | A phase of the moon where the smaller part of the moon is visible and it looks like it is decreasing in size |
