Proton | A proton is a positively charged particale located in the nucleus. |
Neutron | A neutron is a neutrally charged particale located in the nucleus. |
Electron | An electron is a negatively charged particale located around the atoms nucleus in an electron cloud. |
Valance Electron | A valance electron is the electrons on the outer mosat electron shell. |

Non-metals | Non-metals are elements that usually a gas or brittale solid at room temp. and is a poor conductor of heat and electricity. |
Metalloid | Metalloids are elements that share some properties with metals and non-metals. |
Newton's 1st Law | An object at rest will stay at rest while an object in motion will stay in motion until acted on by an unbalanced force. |
Newton's 2nd Law | A= MxF |
Newton's 3rd Law | For every action, there is an equal and oppisite reaction. |
Force | A push or pull |
Newton (unit of measurement) | A newton is a unit of force. |
Speed | Speed is the distance traveled divided be the needed to travel that distance. |
Direction | Direction is the way an object is moving. |
