Fault Line | a long, narrow crack in the Earth's Crust |
Earth's Crust | solid rock that makes up the Moon's and Earth's outermost layers. |
mountain | tall landform that rises to a peak |
plates | Made up of the crust and the upper part of the Earth's mantle. |
earthquake | Is a sudden shaking of the Earth's crust, caused by plates moving along a fault. |
tsunami | A giant wave caused by an Earthquake from the ocean's crust |

volcano | a mountain that builds up around an opening in the Earth's crust |

weathering | Is the slow process that breaks rocks down into smaller pieces |
erosion | transport of weathered rock |
deposition | dropping off of weathered rock |
