Solution | is a mixture that has the same composition, color density and even taste throughout |
Solute | The substance being dissolved. |
Solvent | The substance doing the dissolving |
Polar | Which means it has a positive area and negative area |
Solubility | Is the max amount of solute that can be dissolved in a given amount of solvent |
Saturated solution | Is a solution that contains all the solute it can hold at any given temperature |
Unsaturated solutions | A solution that can hold no more of the solute at a particular temperature is said to be a saturated solution at that temperature. |
Super saturated solution | Solution that is more concentrated than a saturated solution is known as super saturated solution. If a crystal of solute is added to this solution, the excess of solute crystallizes. |
