Solutions

QuestionAnswer
Solution is a mixture that has the same composition, color density and even taste throughout
Solute The substance being dissolved.
Solvent The substance doing the dissolving
Polar Which means it has a positive area and negative area
Solubility Is the max amount of solute that can be dissolved in a given amount of solvent
Saturated solution Is a solution that contains all the solute it can hold at any given temperature
Unsaturated solutions    A solution that can hold no more of the solute at a particular temperature is said to be a saturated    solution at that temperature.
Super saturated solution    Solution that is more concentrated than a saturated solution is known as super saturated solution. If a    crystal of solute is added to this solution, the excess of solute crystallizes.
