| Mississippi River | A major river that runs north-south almost the length of the United States. From Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico. Part of the longest river system on the continent. |

| Canadian Multiculturalism Act | Enacted in 1988, to promote and protect diversity. Ensures the equality for people of all origins and enriches their country. |
