| Cerebrum | the center of thought, imagination, and emotions; largest, most complex

| Cerebellum | part of the brain that controls balance and posture and smooths out movement that requires fine coordination

| Brain stem | part of the brain that guides signals coming from the spinal cord to other parts of the brain.

| Spinal nerves | nerves that branch from the spinal cord and that go to the brain and to the tissues of the body

| Reflex | is an involuntary response that enables he body to react immediately to stimulus, such as a possible injury
