| Neurons | Specialized cells, that recieve and send sifgnals to coordinate the body's thoughts, senses, movements, balance, and many automatic responses.

| Nerves | Bundles of tissue that carry signals from one place to another.

| Spinal Cord | The column of nerve tissue that runs through the backbone.

| Central Nervous System(CNS) | The brain and spinal cord make this system up.

| Cerebrum | The most complex part of the brain which is the center for thought, imagination, and emotions.

| Cerebellum | The part of the brain that controls balance and posture.

| Spinal Nerves | Nerves that branch from the spinal cord and that go to the brain and to the tissues of the body.

| Reflex | An involuntary response that enables the body to react immediately to a stimulus, such as a possible injury.
