Question
Answer
Step 1 of the Calvin Cycle?   Enymes combine CO2 molocules with a 5C called RuBP (6 molecules) splits to make two 3 PGA molecules
🗑
Step 2 of the Calvin Cycle?   3-PGA is converted into G3P (2 part process). 1)3 PGA recieves phosphate+ATP 2)3 PGA recieves proton(H+) from NADPH,phosphate release = G3P.
🗑
Step 3 of the Calvin Cycle?   One of the G3P molocules leaves the Calvin Cycle and is used to make organic compounds,(FOOD)
🗑
Step 4 of the Calvin Cycle?   Remaining G3P molocules are converted back into RuBP.RuBP re-enters Calvin Cycle
🗑
Where does the Calvin cycle occur?   Stroma of the Chloroplast.
🗑
Describe 2 Alternative carbon Fixing pathways?   CAM-"fix" CO2 at night. C4-Fixs into 4C compounds.
🗑
Why do some plants need alternative pathways?   Hot,Dry Climates!!!!!
🗑
What is the equation for photosynthesis.(actul)   6 CO2 + 6 H2O --------> C6 H12 O6 + 6O2
🗑
How are Light Energy and the Calvin Calvin Cycle dependant on each other?   NADPH,ATP -->Calvin Cycle NADP+,ADP,+P -->Light Reaction
🗑
What is the difference between how light + carbon dioxide levels afect photosynthesis compared to how temp. affects photosynthesis?   as temp. increases,

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.

To hide a column, click on the column name.

To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.

You may also shuffle the rows of the table by clicking on the "Shuffle" button.

Or sort by any of the columns using the down arrow next to any column heading.
If you know all the data on any row, you can temporarily remove it by tapping the trash can to the right of the row.
