🗑
Cell Membrane   The cell membrane is a wall within the cell wall that controls what substances travel in and out of the cell.
🗑
Nucleus   The nucleus acts as the brain of a cell and it directs all of the cells activities.
🗑
Cytoplasm   The cytoplasm is the area between the cell membrane and the nucleus. The cytoplasm is a gel like fluid and is constantly moving.
🗑
Cell Wall   The cell wall is a rigid layer of non-living material that surrounds the cell of plants and some other organisms.
🗑
Endoplasmic Reticulum   The endoplasmic reticulum is a maze of passageways that carry proteins from one part of the cell to the other.
🗑
Ribosomes   Ribosomes act as factories to produce proitiens and they are attached to the endoplasmic reticulum.
🗑
Golgi Body   The Golgi body recive protiens from the endoplasmic reticulum, package them, and distribute them throughout the cell.
🗑
Lysosomes   Lysosomes are small, round structures containing chemicals that break down certain materials in the cell.
🗑
Chloroplasts   Cloroplasts capture energy from sunlight and use it to produce food for the cell. The cloroplasts are located in the cytoplasm of plant cells.
🗑
Vacuoles   Vacuoles are the storage place of the cell, and they are located in the cytoplasm.
