🗑
What are species?   Is a grou pof organisms so similar to one another that they an breed and produce fertile offspring.
🗑
What is population?   groups of individuals that belong to the same species and live in the same area.
🗑
What is a community?   Assemblages of different populations that live together in a defined are.
🗑
What is an ecosystem?   An ecosystem is a collection of all the organisms that live in a particular place, together with their nonlive, or physical, environment.
🗑
What are autotrophs?   Plants, some algae, and certain bacteria can capture energy from sunlight or chemicals and use that energy to produce food.
🗑
What is a heterotroph?`   Organisms that rely on other organisms for their energy and food supply.
🗑
What is a food web?   When the feeding relationships among the various orgnaisms in an ecosystem form a network of complex interactions.
🗑
What is trophic level?   It is each step in a food chain or food web.
🗑
What is Biomass?   The total amount of living tissue within a given trophic level.
🗑
What is biogeochemical cycles?   Elements, chemical compounds, and other forms of matter are passed from one organisms to another from one part of the bishpere to another.
🗑
What is weather?   weather is the day to day condition of earth's atomosphere at the particular time and place.
🗑
What is climate?   Climate is the average, year after year conditions of temperature and precipitation in a particular region.
🗑
What is the greenhouse effect?   The natural situatino in which heat is retained by this larer of green house gasses.
🗑
What is biotic factors?   THe biological influences on organisms within an ecosystem.
🗑
What is niche?   The full range of physical and biological conditions in which an organisms lives and the way in which the organism uses those conditions.
🗑
What is logistic growth?   Occurs when a populations growth slows or stops following a period of exponentioal growth.
🗑
What is carry capactiY?   The number, in turn, represents the largerset number of individuals-- in this case, yest cells-- that a given environment can support.
🗑
What is demography?   Demography is the scientific study of human populations.
🗑
What is demographic transition?   A dramatic change in birth and death rates.
🗑
What is green revolution   Green revolution is the modern agricultural technique were introducesd, such as monoculture and the use of chimical furtulizers.
🗑
What is renewable resource?   They can regenerate if they are alive or can be replenished by bio chemical cycles if they are nonliving.
🗑
What is pollutant?   It is the harmful material that can enter the bioshpere through the land, air, or water.
🗑
What is biodiversity?   Another word fro variety
🗑
What 9is biological magnification?   It is concentrations of a harmful substance increase in organisms at high trophic levels in a food haing or food web.
