What is a phenotype? | traits in the DNA that can be seen or expressed.

What is a Genotype? | ALL traits in the DNA includes the phenotype.

What is the Dominant Allele (X)? | expressed in the phenotype, even if only one copy is present in the chromosome. Ex: brown eyes.

What is the Recessive Allele (x)? | expressed in the phenotype, if only the two copies are present in the chromosome. Ex: blue eyes.

What is a Punnett Square? | this shows the outcome for all inherited traits. each box shows a different allele (trait). The Dominant is shown as a capital letter, the recessive shown as a lower case letter.
