Dose | Up to 2.5 ml/kg IV (0.25 g/kg) slowly over 5 minutes Continue to check patency of vein May repeat dose x 1 if level of consciousness or BGL has not improved

Note | Patients who respond to 10% Glucose should eat to prevent later development of further hypoglycaemia. Re-check BGL following treatment.
