        Help!

Term
Definition
Habit 4 is the habit of ___________   Mutual Benefit
🗑
What is the main point of Module 11?   I can build effective relationships with people by working for their benefit as well as my own.
🗑
What is the basic principle of successful living?   Unless other people win with you, you don't truly win.
🗑
Habit 4: Think Win-Win is NOT   1) Win-Lose 2) Lose-Win 3)Lose-Lose
🗑
What are the two main things this habit teaches?   1) Balance courage with consideration 2) Make deposits in other people's Emotional Bank Accounts
🗑
Win-Lose Paradigm   The paradigm that is prideful and selfish in which you can only win if someone else loses. It lacks consideration, but has an excess of courage.
🗑
Lose-Win Paradigm   The paradigm that is the opposite of the Win-Lose paradigm. You lack confidence and self-respect, have a victim mentality, and are easily taken advantage of. This paradigm lacks courage, but has an excess of consideration.
🗑
Lose-Lose Paradigm   The paradigm in which no one wins. It often is accompanied by envy, revenge, and criticism of yourself and others. It lacks both courage and consideration.
🗑
Win-Win Paradigm or No Deal   The paradigm in which you are ready to walk away before anyone loses. It requires a balance of courage and consideration to insure that you help both others and yourself. This paradigm is ideal and has high amounts of both courage and consideration.
🗑
What is the main point of Module 12?   I can make deposits of kindness and helpfulness into other people's Emotional Bank Accounts. When I do this, it's easier to make new friends and build strong relationships.
🗑
The first way to make emotional deposits.   Find out what a deposit is for the other person. It may mean something different to everyone and evolve over time.
🗑
The second way to make emotional deposits.   Do small acts of kindness. This can be simply polishing your manners or a giving a smile to a stranger.
🗑
The third way to make emotional deposits.   Keep promises. The integrity of your character can either withdraw or deposit a lot out of someone's Emotional Bank.
🗑
The fourth way to make emotional deposits.   Keep confidences. Be trustworthy and respectful when it comes to the affairs of those around you.
🗑
The fifth way to make emotional deposits.   Be loyal to the absent. Honor your friends and peers at all times, avoid gossiping behind their backs.
🗑
The sixth way to make emotional deposits.   Set clear expectations. Be clear with your boundaries and follow through with your own responsibilities.
🗑
The seventh way to make emotional deposits.   Apologize. Admit when you are wrong as soon as possible and avoid excuses.
🗑
The eighth way to make emotional deposits.   Forgive. Let go of past wounds and realize that failing to do so hurts yourself more than the other person.
🗑
