What is filtered water?   water treated by filtration, usually through activated carbon filters that reduce the lead in tap water, or by reverse osmosis units that force pressured water across a membrane removing leading, arsenic, and some microogranisms for tap water.

What is mineral water?   water from a spring or well that typically contains 250 to 500 parts per million of minerals. Minerals give water a distinctive flavor. Many are high in sodium.
