Equilibrium   state of balance/any unchanging condition or state of a system resulting from the balance of internal or external stimulus and the organism's response

Homeostasis   The maintenance of stable internal conditions of an organism/state of equilibrium

Thigmotropism   a plant's response to touch

Transpiration   the process by which moisture is carried through plants from roots to stomata (tiny openings) on the underside of leaves, where it changes to vapor and is released to the atmosphere.
