| Steps to subdivide land (5-4) | 4. Once the preliminary plat is approved by the planning commission, the property owner prepares the final plat
5. Final plat then repeats the process until it is approved by the planning commission

| Extraterritorial Jurisdiction | A distance outside of the city limits where the subdivision regulations apply

| Performance Bonds | Agreement between the property owner and the community to ensure that the final plat is built as shown n the drawing
