Question
Answer
What is the troposphere?   The troposphere starts at the Earth's surface and extends 8 to 14.5 kilometers high (5 to 9 miles). This part of the atmosphere is the most dense. As you climb higher in this layer Almost all weather happens here.
🗑
what is radiation?   radiation is a process where energy emitted by one body travels in a straight line through a medium or through space. Radiation comes from the sun, nuclear reactors. microwave ovens, radio antennas, X-ray machines, and power lines are some examples.
🗑
What is relative humidity?   Humidity is water vapor in a gas. Water vapor consists of individual water molecules moving independently and randomly of one another, suspended within gas.
🗑
what is stratosphere?   The stratosphere is the second major layer of Earth's atmosphere, just above the troposphere, and below the mesosphere. with warmer layers higher up and cooler layers farther down.
🗑
What is temperature?   In a qualitative manner, we can describe the temperature of an object as that which determines the sensation of warmth or coldness felt from contact with it.
🗑
what is thermometer?   A thermometer is a device that measures the temperature of the air.
🗑
what is thermosphere?   its located above the mesosphere. The air is really thin in the thermosphere. A small change in energy can cause a large change in temperature.
🗑
what is troposphere?   The lowest layer of the atmosphere is called the troposphere. It ranges in thickness from 8km at the poles to 16km over the equator. The troposphere is bounded above by the tropopause, a boundary marked by stable temperatures.
🗑
what is water vapor?   Water vapor is water in its gaseous state-instead of liquid or solid. Water vapor is totally invisible. If you see a cloud, fog, or mist, these are all liquid water, not water vapor
🗑
what is weather?   Weather is the elements of weather include temperature, precipitation, wind, and pressure. These elements are organized into various weather systems, such as monsoons, areas of high and low pressure.
🗑
what is wind?   Wind is the flow of air or other gases that compose an atmosphere
🗑
what is tornado?   A tornado is a violent, dangerous, rotating column of air which is in contact with both the surface of the earth and a cumulonimbus cloud or, in rare cases, the base of a cumulus clouds.
