Metabolism | The sum of the chemical reactions in a living thing.

Continuity of Life | Living things arise from other living thing of the same type.

||||
Organisation | Living things are composed of cells, tissues, organs and organ systems.

Nutrition | The way in which an organism obtains and uses its food.
🗑
|
||||
Excretion | The removal of the waste products of metabolism from the body.
🗑
|
||||
Reproduction | The formation of new individuals.
🗑
|
||||
Sexual Reproduction | The union of two sex cells (gametes).
🗑
|
||||
Asexual Reproduction | Does not require the union of two sex cells.
🗑
|
||||
Response | The way in which an organism reacts to changes in its enviroment.

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.
