Dose: 0.3-0.5 mg SC into upper arm

Amyl Nitrate | Inhaled
One to two inhalants of amyl nitrate should be crushed and inhaled. This should be maintained until the patient has reached an emergency department.

Activated Charcoal | PO/NG/OG
Dose: 1 g/kg
- In massive overdose, 2 g/kg may be indicated

Acetylsalicylic Acid (Aspirin) | PO
Dose: Have the patient chew and swallow 160 to 325 mg of uncoated ASA

Acetaminophen (Tylenol) | PO/PR
Dose: 325-650 mg q 4-6 hours, not to exceed 4000 mg/24-hours
