Waxing Cresent | 2nd phase of the moon. Illuminated from the right side of the moon.

First Quarter | 3rd phase of the moon. Half of the moon is illuminated from the right side.

Waxing Gibbous | 4th phase of the moon. More than half of the moon is illuminated from the right side.

Full Moon | 5th phase of the moon. The entire side visible to Earth is illuminated.

Waning Gibbous | 6th phase of the moon. Moon is fading away. More than half of the moon is illuminated on the left side of the moon.

Third Quarter | 7th phase of the moon. Half of the moon is illuminated from the left side.

Waning Crescent | 8th phase of the moon. Illuminated from the left side of the moon.
