Atrium   The upper blood collection chamber of the heart. Holds blood from the superior/inferior vena cava, anterior/smaller cardiac veins, and the coronary sinus.

🗑
Vein   Blood vessel that carries deoxygenated blood to the heart
🗑
Capillary   Blood vessel that connects arteries and veins

Trachea   A tube surrounded by rings of cartilage, connecting the larynx to the bronchial tubes. Referred to as "windpipe."
🗑
Larynx   Forms an air passage to the lungs, and houses the vocal cords.

🗑
Bronchi   Two tubes which conduct air into the right and left lungs, then breaking off into smaller and smaller branches called bronchioles.
🗑
Bronchioles   Minute branches where the bronchus divides, which end in alveoli
🗑
Alveolar Sacs   Sacs which contain bunches of alveoli.
