What do the protons electrons and neutrons do?   The protons and neutrons stay clumped together in the centre of the atom while the electrons move around the outside.
🗑
What is in a balanced atom?   In a balanced atom the number of protons equal the number of electrons.
🗑
What happens when the electrons move to a different atom?   The atom becomes positively charged.
🗑
What happens to the atom that has more electrons?   The atom becomes negatively charged.
🗑
How do atoms rebalance themselves?   As soon as they can they will "jump" to another atom to rebalance themselves.
🗑
What happens when they don't jump soon enough?   The electrons will eventually fade into the atmosphere.
