Structures within cavity
Dorsal body cavity   Head / back - Broken down into Cranial cavity and the vertebral canal.

Cranial cavity   Cavity that houses the brain.

Vertebral canal   Contains the spinal cord.  
🗑
Ventral Cavity   Chest / Gut - Divided by the diaphram, into a superior Thoracic cavity and an inferior abdominopelvic cavity.

Thoracic Cavity   Protected by the rib cage and contains the heart and lungs.  
🗑
Abdominopelvic Cavity   Subdivided into a superior Abdominal cavity and an inferior pelvic cavity, but there is no structural separation between them.

Abdominal Cavity   Contains the stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, and kidneys.

Pelvic Cavity   Contains the urinary bladder, sigmoid colon, rectum, and internal reproductive organs.
