prokaryote | microscopic single celled, doesn't have distinct cell membrane or organelle.

eukaryote | an organism consisting of cells that contain DNA and chromosomes, every living thing but archaebacteria and eubacteria

organelle | the small parts that form a cell: ex- cytoplasm, cell membrane, mitochondria

tissue | a group of similar cells that perform a similar function Example- muscle

organ | a group of similar tissues that perform a common function. Example- heart, liver, brain

||||
organ system | A group of organs that perform a function, Example- digestive system
