Protein Structure | chain of amino acids, consists of four elements.
🗑
Protein Function | help protect the body, helps strengthen enzymes to carry out thousands of chemical reactions that take place in the cell, provides structure and support for cells, transport oxygen around the body.
🗑

Lipid Structure | chain that consists of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen, not a specific ratio.
🗑
Lipid Function | storing energy, signaling, and acting as structural components of cell membranes.
🗑
Nucleic Acid Structure | the structure of nucleic acids are DNA and RNA. The primary structure consists of a linear sequence of nucleotides that are linked together by phosphodiester bonds.
🗑
Nucleic Acid Function | There are two types of nucleic acid and they are DNA and RNA. DNA is the basic instructions for living things. RNA is very important for making proteins in a cell and can be found floating around in the cytoplasm of a cell.
