Adaptation   A trait that has changed to help an organism survive and reproduce

Mimicry   Some organisms adapt by looking like other organisms.

Camouflage   Some organisms blend in with their surroundings that makes it difficult to see them.

Natural Selection   The process by which individuals that are better adapted to their environment are more likely to survive and reproduce.

Overproduction   Organisms produce more offspring than the environment can support because many of the offspring will die before maturing.
