Heredity | The passing of inherited characteristics from generation to generation.

Punnett Square | A chart that can predict all the possible combinations of offspring from particular parents.

Predigree Chart | A diagram used to chase inherited traits through man generations of a family.

Homozygous Traits | Inheriting two of the same genes fr a genetic trait (purebred) ex.: BB for brown eyes or bb for blue.

Hererozygous Traits | Inheriting two DIFFERENT genes for a genetic trait. (hybrid) ex.: Bb for brown eyes
